I'm building a personal computer made of actors: small programs that run on my behalf, out in the world, each one isolated, supervised, and leaving a record of everything it did.
The pieces:
- Theater, a WebAssembly actor runtime. Every actor keeps a chain of the events it handled.
- Pack, the package format and ABI between actors, with recursive types.
- Granite and Wisp, a typed language that compiles to WebAssembly, and a small Lisp written in it.
This site is one of those actors. It's a Wisp session in a Theater runtime, and it's changed by talking to it while it runs.
